Greben Štit

Greben Štit

The Štit Crag lies off the southwest shore of Mljet and faces Lastovo. Shallows are found along the crag section facing inland and this is the anchoring point and point of descent leading to a plateau at 6 m before swimming on westwards towards the open sea and a wall that drops to 55 m ending in a white sand seabed. Descent is to maximum depth, depending on a diver’s certification, followed by gradual ascent and exploration and a decompression stop at the plateau and in the shallows. Marine life This site is rich in flora and fauna, including groupers, scorpionfish, moray eels and lobsters, as well as schools of greater amberjack, Mediterranean barracudas and red coral.
