The small island of Smokvica lies about 300 m off shore near the town of Primošten. The sandy seabed and currents around this small island have provided an environment that abounds in life. The site offers a magnificent wall with holes, crevices and small caves that rises above the sandy seabed and drops to a depth of 30 m.
The site is reached by boat and the dive starts down the anchoring line and along the wall to maximum depth. Exploration of the wall is gradual and upon ascent.
Holes and crevices found along the wall are ideal habitats for lobsters, forkbeards and two-banded sea bream. The wall itself is covered in sponges of various colours, prevalent in nutrient-bearing areas exposed to sea currents.
